Registration of Birth, Death, Marriage & Divorce

As per the Local Government (Amendment) Act 2025, it is the responsibility of the Municipal Committee to register births, deaths, marriages, and divorces within its jurisdiction. Applicants may visit the office of the Municipal Committee or the concerned Registration Officer for this purpose. In case the service is denied or delayed, the applicant may lodge a complaint with the Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Right to Service Commission
